“It’s hard to pinpoint when exactly I fell in love with Brittany because it was almost love at first sight, as cheesy as it sounds. From our first virtual date where her humor and wit had me wanting to talk until the sun came up, to our first night out where we laughed and shared our most vulnerable feelings, through our countless CookOut Runs, movie nights, and deep conversations, I found myself falling for her hard. But if I had to pick one moment, it would be when I quit my current job at the time for a new one. She cooked me an incredible meal as a way to celebrate my new job, and I was beyond moved. Not only was it delicious, but the time and care that was put in to not only the food, but the date itself was so meaningful. I saw how kind, caring, and thoughtful she was, and I knew that I loved this woman, because I felt loved by her too.”

“The moment I knew I loved Brandon, a.k.a “COVIDBae,” we were at the pool together. I had just completed a major exam in school that I HAD to pass in order to continue advancing in my degree program. As we were hanging out at the pool I was incredibly stressed out as I was still waiting to hear the results of my exam. I tried to play it off, but Brandon saw right though that — he has a way of knowing how I’m feeling, even when I don’t say it. He grabbed my hand, looked me in the eye, and asked me to be fully present in the moment. He then somehow managed to say all the right things and take my mind of the exam for the rest of the day. Next thing I knew, I was having the best pool day of my life. I felt like I didn’t have a care in the world! What I love most about Brandon is simply who he is, and I know we can build a beautiful life together because of how supportive and caring he is. No matter what I’m going through, he always keeps me calm and helps me move my mind away from worry and into the present moment.”
